There’s only one thing better than sipping on local craft Bourbon Whiskey, and that would be sipping on your very own barrel-aged Bourbon Whiskey! We are stoked to offer our customers the opportunity to experience aging whiskey with us. How does it work? Easy… STEP 1: CHOOSE YOUR BARREL SIZE
You have the choice of purchasing a whiskey barrel as your very own or as a group (comprised of friends, coworkers, family members, gym buddies, etc.). Although the choice is fully yours, it would be our suggestion to purchase a 5 gallon whiskey barrel as an individual, and a 10 gallon whiskey barrel as a group.

(Please contact us for pricing) STEP 2: NAME YOUR BARREL
Once your whiskey barrel is selected, we will need to know what you would like to call it. Are you the Radical HB Crew, Surfing Divas, or Cowabunga Dudes? Whichever the name, we will have it laser engraved onto your barrel and then stored inside our Tasting Room for all to see. How cool is that?? STEP 3: WAIT FOR THE MAGIC TO HAPPEN
The suggested wait time is 2 years for a whiskey to properly age. In fact, the regulations on calling your whiskey a “Straight” Bourbon Whiskey requires a minimum of 2 years, made up of at least 51% corn, and aged in a new American Oak barrel. Our whiskey is made of much more than 51% corn, and our barrels are new American Oak so the only other piece of the puzzle is time!
That being said, this is your whiskey barrel and you’re in charge of telling us when you believe your delicious Bourbon Whiskey is ready for bottling.** You’re welcome to taste your whiskey at any time during our normal Tasting Room hours and experience the magical changes that happen inside the barrel. STEP 4: BOTTLE EM’ UP
Once you’ve established that your Bourbon Whiskey is ready for bottling, we will pull your barrel from the racks, bottle, and label them for you.*** Let us know if you would like to bottle with us and we can schedule a bottling party with you and your friends.
The labels on your bottles will include your custom barrel name, barrel # & batch #. You will also get to take the aged barrel home with you. Good luck figuring out who gets dibs on the barrel! *We cannot guarantee the exact number of bottles. If you will be tasting the whiskey over the aging period this number may decrease. Also note that there is a portion called Angel’s Share that evaporates as the barrel breathes between hot and cold seasons. **Our pricing includes 2 years of aging within our warehouse. There is a fee of $1500 per additional year (up to 5 years maximum). ***Current regulations allow us to sell three 750ml bottles per person per day so plan on bringing some reinforcements when it’s time to pick up. We are more than happy to hold onto your bottles for 30 days after bottling. Any bottles left after 30 days will incur a storage fee.
